As your baby gets his or her first tooth he or she may have sore or tender gums. It’s normal for a child to be fussy during the teething stages.
A child’s teeth help them with their chewing and speaking capability. Mainly these primary ( baby) teeth save spaces in the jaw for permanent teeth to come in at a later age. Make sure you clean your baby’s gums and teeth with a clean wet guaze or a finger toothbrush.
Here’s a tooth chart showing what teeth to expect at what age, especially for first time parents.
